Scholarships Available

through the Synod of Lakes and Prairies

for pastoral leaders, church educators and Christian Education volunteers in Iowa

In an effort to further the vitality of local congregations and support church leaders, the Transforming Communities/Vital Leaders Committee of the Synod has set aside funding to encourage participation in the January 2025 annual event of the Association of Partners in Christian Education which will be in Memphis, TN. This funding is limited to volunteers, church educators and pastoral leaders from Iowa. It is made available through the proceeds of the James Black Endowment.

Scholarships will cover registration at the member level and a small part of the membership fee. For in person attendance, the scholarship is $450. For virtual participation, the scholarship is $185.

Individual Registration Options

In person participation
I will attend in person at St. Louis. Scholarship is $450 to cover registration fees and part of membership fee.
Virtual participation
I would like to participate in the APCE Annual Event virtually. Scholarship is $185.
